Very nice short french artillery sword, model M1831 based on the roman Gladius and in use with the army of Napoleon the 3rd. The sword is in a used but still good condition. The brass hilt is complete without to many bumps, and the blade is still nicely tight and fixerd. The blade has 2 fullers and the finish of the blade is really nice with a nice patine. The point of the blade is blunt. No markings found.
