US WW2 RARE Converter M-209-B Cipher Machine
Very rare Converter M-209-B Cipher machine, used to send coded messages. Dated 1944, has the original tweezers. Missing the screwdriver and paper roll.
M-209-B was a light-weight portable pin-and-lug cipher machine, developed at the beginning of World War II by Boris Hagelin of AB Cryptoteknik in Stockholm (Sweden), and manufactured by Smith & Corona in Syracuse (New York, USA).
