Very interesting photo album from a German petty officer 21 infantry division. It shows his service time from june 1940 untill oktober 1941. It is a very detailed album with a lot of additional information. This POW camp was opened in august 1940 and held mostly french prisoners of war. The camp was closed in oktober 1941. The album begins with the training of the german petty officer and later on the build up of the POW camp and the arrival of the first French prisoners. Rare insight in a german POW camp. The album consists of 77 photo’s and comes with the original dust cover.
