Rare M1938 Mannlicher Carcano Folding Bayonet 2nd model. The bayonet is in a used but still good and working condition. This model was produced for the Carcano rifle and was designed to stay on the rifle during use. In the field this did not work as planned so a scabbard was designed and produced so the bayonet could be worn on the couple belt. The folding action still works as many of these bayonets were adjusted and were made as fixed bayonets. Not a lot of folding samples are left and so a very desirable collecting piece. The bayonet is nicely marked.
