British Lancaster switch unit type J

J switch for a british lancaster bomber. The unit is produced in bakelite. The units were made very robust and large as most wireless operators wore gloves due to the cold so it was easier to have a big switch instead of smaller ones. The switch is still in a excellent condition and probably still functional as it has been kept in a dry storage. A lot of markings including the Air Ministry. Very nice display item or to complete your cockpit.
